Bernard Garo has been officially invited by the Chinese Government to the 7th Beijing International Art Biennale, which will take place in Beijing from September 24 to October 15, 2017.
The Beijing International Art Biennale is praised as the biggest art biennale with its exhibits mainly consisting of paintings and sculptures and, this year, it proposes a reflection around the theme of “Silk Road and World’s Civilizations”. Bernard Garo is the unique Swiss artist invited and he will present his canvas entitled Mystère d’un huis clos oriental. This invitation represents a great honor and acknowledgement for the artist, whose art work questions our identity, our view of the environment and our openness to other cultures.
